Thank you so much for the incredible feedback on my new feature, THE CLIENT EDIT. I am honestly blown away by the response! My biggest takeaway is that while you love seeing the looks I create for clients, you also want to be able to shop them. I heard you loud and clear: moving forward, I will make sure to include purchase links for every piece I can find.

I know so many of us are focused on looking forward to your spring wardrobe (and making most of the sales now to get those key pieces) so here is a little inspo from me and my client. This LookBook was all about mixing seasons - its a hybrid between Fall & Spring - giving each fall piece an early spring rebrand.

For context this client is based in London (rare for me, most of my online clients are in the US & beyond) and she is a busy mum of 3 children that also has her own business to run - like many of my clients, she is a superwoman.
Her brief was for me to create looks that were elevated, put together and comfortable. She works in a creative industry so doesn’t need a specific work uniform. Her main aim is to wear pieces that can easily pivot from nursery/school drop off, to client meetings on the go.

THE LOOKS
For all of the looks, my main goal was to show that you absolutely can mix lightweight fabrics, like linen, with heavier textures, like wool and leather. The secret here is all in the texture combination.

On the left: I used the ‘sandwich’ method. I framed the outfit with heavier pieces (the wool and suede) and used the linen pants as the ‘filling’ in the middle. To finish, I added a smooth leather tote to anchor the outfit; a lightweight bag would have felt out of place against the heavier textures.

On the right: I stuck to just two heavy pieces- the leather jacket and the tote - and focused on layering lighter items for warmth with a pop of colour.
A quick styling tip: button the cardigan just at the top (from the neck down a few inches) and leave the rest open to reveal the white top underneath. This way you are warm and toasty but still showing the underneath layer a little too. Make sure to fully tuck the base tank again so you can see where your waist starts to create proportion.
